How To Do the Perfect Glitter Gradient!
As promised, today we are going to learn how to do the perfect glitter gradient and just in time for the holidays too! They look fairly easy to do, but there are a few tips and tricks that would have helped me when I first started doing glitter gradients which I will happily share with all of you today!

Base coat
Top coat
Purple nail polish (I’m using Nicole by OPI – Pretty in Plum)
Glitter nail polish (I’m using Nicole by OPI – Mi Fantasia)

When it comes to how much glitter to apply, the key thing to keep in mind is that you can always add, but too much and you have to start over so err on the side of caution!

You can see why it’s important to choose a fairly dense glitter for a glitter gradient as you don’t want the layers to be too thick. When the layers are too thick, the polish takes much longer to try and tends to look quite thick towards the tips of the nails.

One of my favourite glitter gradient combinations to wear for the holidays is either red/green with gold glitter. Nothing says festive like gold glitter!
