A Pop of Coral! Nail Art for the Season

It’s closing in on Prom time and bright pops of colour are what’s in style for nails so today I’ll show you to create a classic French manicure with a pop of coral that will make anyone stop and stare!

nicole by opi — Supplies: Gold striping tape, small nail scissors, peach nail polish (NOPI – I’ll Have the Salmon), hot pink nail polish (NOPI – Color Me Country) and quick dry top coat

coralfrenchmani — Start by painting your nails two coats of the peach coloured nail polish. Then slowly paint a French tip in the hot pink about a quarter of the way down from the nail tip.

Your lines don’t need to be perfect as the striping tape will give us perfectly straight French tips! If you do not have steady hands, you can use scotch tape or nail tip guides to create your French tips.

coralfrenchmani (2) — Once your manicure is relatively dry, cut pieces of gold striping tape with your scissors and apply them to your nail where the two colours meet. You should have a near perfect straight line. Trim off excess tape on the sides of the nail and seal in with top coat.

And there you have it! A perfect French manicure using Spring and Summer brights that will surely make any girl the belle of the ball!
