Sweet and Simple Nails

Now that Spring is on its way (I’m sick of being cold) we can slowly start to pull away from those vampy dark polishes from Fall and glitter bomb polishes from the Holidays and start looking to the coming nail polish trends for Spring, which are NUDES and NEUTRALS!

Sounds boring right? Well, who says it has to be?!

Neutral colours provide an amazing base to add a little more pizazz to your manicure. We will start off the latest Spring trend with a sweet and simple manicure reminiscent of Carrie Underwood as her latest collaboration with Nicole by OPI is just that – country gal sweetness!

Paint your nails two coats of your light orange polish and wait a minute or two before reaching for your dotting tools.

Using the largest dotting tool, with your gold polish, place you first dot close to the cuticle. To create the gradation in size, use either smaller dotting tools or place less polish onto your existing dotting tool. This method might require more practice though!

Wait until your dots have completely dried, usually around 15-20 minutes and apply a fast-drying top coat. I have really been enjoying the Nicole by OPI top coat as I have reasonably dry nails in about 5 minutes as well as an incredible shine!
