Shopping? There’s an app for that…

Thinking of hitting one of Toronto’s major malls?

Navigating those suckers can be a task fit for Survivorman Les Stroud!
Gone are the days of simply relying on the multicoloured mall directory board that was located at the middle of the shopping centre – these places are far too large for that.

In an effort to make spending your money easier, three big malls (Vaughan Mills, Eaton Centre and Yorkdale), have implemented apps.

Eaton Centre handles all smartphones, whereas, Vaughan Mills caters to Apple and neglects Blackberry & Android and Yorkdale, although including Blackberry users, lets Androiders fall to the wayside. Hopefully, this will change to promote a more inclusive technosphere.
